DESCRIPTION:The Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County\, Inc. (DRC-MC) seeks entries for its 2023 Conflict Resolution Bookmark Art Contest. The contest is open to all Montgomery County students in grades K through 8.\n\n\n\nCategories: Level 1=Kindergarten through Second grade\; Level 2=Third through Fifth grade\; and Level 3 = Sixth through Eighth Grade.\n\n\n\nTo Enter: Submit original artwork drawn on bookmark size template available on our website or on a 8 " x 11" sheet of paper with the image size being 3" high by 9" wide. Please be sure that the student's name\, age and grade\, school or program name\, teacher's name and address\, written legibly\, are included ON THE BACK of the bookmark entry. Please DO NOT FOLD BOOKMARK.\n\n\n\nTheme: Bookmark art must reflect a conflict resolution or prevention theme\, such as peer mediation\, talking things out\, apologizing\, respecting differences\, solving problems together\, listening\, tolerance\, peace building\, or alternatives to violence.\n\n\n\nDeadline: All original artwork must be received before 5:00 p.m. on\n\nMarch 13\, 2023. Faxed or emailed bookmarks will not be accepted.\n\n\n\nAn awards ceremony will be held on Thursday\, April 20\, 2023\, at 4:00 p.m. Judge Kathleen Hamilton will present awards to the winners. Winning bookmarks will also be displayed at the Montgomery County Memorial Library System\, Central Branch.\n\n\n\nArtwork may be mailed or delivered to Elaine Roberts\, Dispute Resolution Center\, 301 N.
