SUMMARY:Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive with Guaranty Bank & Trust
DESCRIPTION:Of all Willis ISD students\, 60% are on free/reduced-cost meals\, with many students struggling to meet basic needs. They have 4 out of 5 elementary schools that are Title I.\n\n\n\nConroe ISD is 37% economically disadvantaged and 23 of their 43 elementary and intermediate schools are Title I.\n\n\n\nDespite some federal funding\, children and teachers in both of these districts are still in need of our help. In response to their call\, the Conroe Chamber is holding its first school supply drive for the Conroe/Caney Creek feeder zones in Conroe ISD and Willis ISD. This drive will be spearheaded by the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Guaranty Bank & Trust. \n\n\n\nSpecific days and hours have been scheduled with actual school buses\, out and about to collect the goodies! This drive will run from July 15\, starting with our kick-off at Guaranty Bank and Trust - Conroe\, and culminate with the stuffed buses meeting at the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber on the evening of August 12!\n\nMOST NEEDED ITEMS:\n\n19" backpacks\n\nGlue sticks\n\nPencils\n\nBlack and red pens\n\nCrayons\n\nTwo-pocket folders\n\nPronged folders\n\n1" binders\n\nNotebook paper\n\nPencil pouches\n\nScissors\n\nHighlighters\n\nDry erase markers\n\nIndex cards\n\nRulers\n\nHand sanitizer\n\nColored pencils\n\nMarkers\n\nPencil sharpeners\n\nConstruction paper\n\nDisinfecting wipes\n\nNotebooks
