Job Title: Welcome Center  - Guest Services

Location: Montgomery Welcome Center

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and friendly individual to join our team as a Welcome Center Front Desk Representative at our new Montgomery Welcome Center in Montgomery, Texas. This role plays a crucial part in providing excellent customer service and support to visitors, guests, and members of our organization. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for anyone entering our welcome center, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all.

  1. Greet visitors, guests, and members with a warm and welcoming demeanor as they enter the welcome center.
  2. Provide information about our organization, its services, facilities, and events to visitors.
  3. Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding services, programs, and general information.
  4. Assist visitors with directions, maps, and recommendations for local attractions, accommodations, and dining options.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including restocking brochures, pamphlets, and other informational materials.
  6. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  7. Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments as needed.
  8. Handle visitor and event registrations and new membership record creation 
  9. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  10. Handle any complaints or concerns from visitors promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, businesses, and amenities is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping others.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
