Community volunteers, businesses, churches and organizations are also invited to participate
CONROE, Texas — The Salvation Army of Montgomery County invites families throughout the community to its 2026 Fall Festival on Wednesday, October 28, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at 304 Avenue E in Conroe.
The free, family-friendly event will feature Trunk-or-Treat, games, food, candy, prizes, a costume contest, activities and more, providing local children and families with a fun and welcoming place to celebrate the fall season together.
“Some of the best moments happen when our community comes together simply to serve, connect and create memories with one another,” said Captain Amanda Johns, Corps Officer for The Salvation Army of Montgomery County. “We want every family to know they are welcome, and we are excited to invite our community partners to be part of making this a special evening for our neighbors.”
In addition to welcoming families to attend, The Salvation Army is seeking volunteers, businesses, churches, civic organizations, schools, nonprofits and community groups to help bring the festival to life.
Community partners may participate by decorating and hosting a Trunk-or-Treat vehicle, operating a family-friendly booth or activity, providing approved giveaways, or bringing a team of volunteers to assist with games, activities, welcoming families, setup, cleanup, candy distribution and other festival needs.
The event is provided completely free to the community. Participating organizations may not sell products or services, collect money, conduct fundraising, or exchange goods or services during the festival. Booths and activities are intended to be completely volunteer-driven and free for attending families.
