Compassion United Annual Gala- TOGETHER 2026

Compassion United will host its ninth annual Gala on Thursday, March 26th, 2026 which will fuel its continued efforts to transform the lives of the forgotten, marginalized, and hopeless of Montgomery County. The organization was founded by Luke and Karla Redus almost 20 years ago and offers multiple programs to the community, such as transitional housing, at-risk youth programs, grocery distribution, day client services, and more. 

Attendees of the Gala become part of a powerful story of transformation. Their support helps individuals overcome poverty and trauma, creating lasting change and brighter futures for those in need.

This year’s event theme is TOGETHER- because we are better together. The event will benefit the work of Compassion United, which began as a family serving breakfast tacos to people experiencing homelessness and has expanded to become the most comprehensive support organization serving the homeless in Montgomery County. This year, Compassion United is celebrating 20 years of compassion.
