Developing Programs to Enhance our Community
The Chamber Education committee is dedicated to developing programs that enhance the talents and skills of our member’s employees, identifying gaps in local workforce development efforts and engaging in public/private partnerships between our region’s business and educational community. Examples of work developed out of the committee include the annual Job Fair and Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Chamber University, the Next Generation High School Leadership program, organization and execution of common interest business roundtables and partnership with economic development resources on a comprehensive regional workforce development plan.
