Fall Health & Wellness Festival

Lone Star Family Health Center in partnership with Children’s Books on Wheels is hosting the Fall Health & Wellness Festival Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, from 11 am to 2 pm at Tamina Community Park in Conroe. The event is free. Lone Star Family Health Center is providing COVID-19 vaccines for free to attendees. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register for the vaccines. One of the features of the event includes a health care panel with physicians from Lone Star Family Health Center including Dr. Ruth Duesterheft, Dr. Cristina Hamme and Dr. Alvaro Sanchez as well as Dr. Shannon Ramsey Jimenez and Dr. Courtney Banks with Sam Houston State University. Attendees are able to ask health-related questions to the panel. Other vendors at the event are providing health screenings and community resources.
