About Us:
Histo Pros is a Mohs and Histology consulting company with experienced trainers in Mohs workshop settings that offers onsite training, technician coverage, CLIA compliance and documentation, lab design, IHC expertise, and histology support services. We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented technician/technologist willing to travel. Opportunities available across the U.S.
Responsibilities include:

Mohs frozen section preparation - mapping, labeling, grossing, inking, embedding, sectioning, staining, and coverslipping
-
Permanent section preparation - grossing, labeling, processing, embedding in paraffin, sectioning, staining, and coverslipping
-
Proper organizing and storage of slides
-
Routine maintenance and cleaning of histology equipment
Job Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and management
-
Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, and Pathology terminology
-
Must be reliable
-
Ability to work independently

Ability to pay close attention to detail

Problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
-
Willing to travel (Reimbursement for travel expenses included)
Experience:
-
Mohs Technician: 2 years (Preferred)
-
Laboratory: 1 year (Preferred)
-
HT/HTL Certification (a plus)
