Summary
This position is responsible for working with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and fund development committee for planning and coordinating all aspects of fund development for Family Promise of Montgomery County. Provide leadership in all fundraising initiatives, including special events, major gifts, planned giving, sponsorships, monthly donor cultivation, fundraising events, and grant writing with report management requirements. Identify, organize, and manage the fundraising, corporations, public and private organizations, faith communities, and individuals. The nonprofit development managers focus on creating development plans that raise public awareness about key issues, facilitate donor fundraising, and generally raise revenue to pursue the organization's strategic goals.
Experience in fundraising is key. Must be motivated and confident*Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously* Ability to inspire, motivate, challenge, and work well with volunteers. * Confidence in speaking and able to express ideas verbally and in writing.
