About Us

United Built Homes has been helping families achieve the dream of homeownership since **1958**. What began as a small lumberyard in **Shreveport, Louisiana**, grew from supplying building materials into a full-service homebuilding and financing company. Today, United Built Homes has built **more than 50,000 homes** for families across **Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana**. With Design Centers throughout the region, UBH specializes in building quality, customizable homes on land owned by our customers. For more than **65 years**, our focus has remained on making the homebuilding process as simple and accessible as possible. Customers can select from a wide variety of home designs, customize an existing UBH plan, or bring their own plans for consideration. One of the things that makes United Built Homes unique is our ability to provide both **construction and in-house financing**, allowing customers to work with one company throughout much of the homebuilding and financing process.
