Local dentist spreads free smiles
Conroe, Texas- Dr. Timothy Gardner’s 17th Annual “Dentistry From the Heart” event held at Conroe Comprehensive Dental Center, Saturday, May 16, 2026, donated more than $55,932 worth of free dental care to underprivileged/uninsured in the community. To date, they have donated over $655,00 worth of dentistry to date.
Procedures done free of charge included cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Their mission was to treat infections and get patients out of pain.
Volunteers included Dr. Timothy Gardner, D.D.S., Dr. Todd Leiker D.D.S., Dr. Robby Jennings, D.D.S., Rachel Burrough, RDH, Trisha Ortiz, RDH, Ashley Boyd, RDH, Beth Victor, RDH, Audrey Feliciano, RDH, Michele Peterson, along with many more team members.
When the team arrived at 6:00 am, there was already a line around the building. When Dr. Gardner addresses the crowd, he stated “He does this because he loves all of God’s children and wants to use the talents, he gave him to help people.”
Dentistry from the heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission: making people smile. DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans.
